In order to resemble a yogi or yoga, a cat arching its back that led to purr in delight. Last week, this was so amazing no-kill animal shelter Homeward Bound created the connection and delivered six adult cats to mix with the students at Yoga at Connie with a studio in Decatur in Illinois.
Jeanette Skaluba, who was Homeward Bound social media volunteer, thought of event with a video of 12-year-old cat Oreo being been rode on her shoulder went viral. She said “Cats rule the Internet,” and she expected this event might encourage adoptions. Oreo and her feline companions changed between the studio’s sidelines and center stage. This was getting yogi belly rubs. Beyond, another cat, Breezy, discovered a nice warm spot on a yoga mat underneath Emily Cook. So, this was forcing her to hold her yoga position until Breezy moved away. Note that June was Adopt-a-Cat month. However, June was the collaborative event that raised more than $500 for Homeward Bound.
