Art style is unlimited to relevant idea and intention. That is, artist and musician Genesis P-Orridge had met his future wife in 1993 and at that time she dressed him up in her clothes, makeup and a falsie, renovating him into lookalike. In this principle, that was his first step towards self-transformation and introduced two decades in such making. Now, his wife Jaye was died, but he tried to continue their love affair in order to become her.
Being born in Neil Megson, Genesis had been already a debatable musician, artist and a pioneer linked with modern body conversion in the 70s and 80s long afore he saw his wife. Being staged an exhibition named ‘Prostitution’, his 1970 art collective COUM Transmissions had featured pornographic photographs, sculptures created tampons and transvestite security guards. Note that he had his genitals stabbed in the early’80s issuing it to the front page of many British newspapers.
